I am incredibly blessed to be teaching English Language Arts and Writing to the 6-8th grade students and Reading to the 8th grade students at Saint Joseph School. From the moment I walked into this school, I knew it was the place where God wanted me to be.
I hold a BA with a double major in Visual Art and English Language and Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing from Gordon College, MA. After working nearly 10 years in financial business, I made the career change to teaching. In the spring of 2020, I finished my Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University Chicago.
My hope is that I can not only share my love of learning and the English language with the students, but also the love of Christ. I strive to make my classroom a comfortable place where students can learn, be curious, discover themselves and grow into the wonderful people that God has intended them to be.
