I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade at St. Joseph School! This is my ninth year teaching (after an eight year break to stay home with my children), and my first year here at SJS. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Having attended St. Joseph’s for grade school and Montini Catholic for high school, I strongly believe that a Catholic education forms the foundation for morally-sound, successful individuals. It combines a love for God and His teachings, and a commitment to give students the best education possible. I am committed to SJS, as both a teacher and parent, with my own children being students here since preschool.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband, three girls and two dogs. In my free time I also love to read, craft and go on adventures.
I have high expectations for all of my students and I am committed to create an environment that is both productive and engaging! I am here for each and every one of them and strive to provide them with an educational experience that will benefit them in their future schooling endeavors.
