This will be my 30th year at St. Joe’s, all in first grade. I was a substitute teacher in various public and Catholic schools throughout the suburbs for one year, and then I was a first grade teacher for two years at St. Domitilla School in Hillside prior to coming to St. Joseph School in 1993.
I have lived my whole life in the western suburbs. I am a graduate of Visitation School in Elmhurst, Immaculate Heart of Mary High School in Westchester, and Elmhurst University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I earned my Master’s Degree in Education, with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction, from Western Illinois University.
In addition, I serve as the director of St. Joseph School Extended Care Program, providing before and after school care to students beyond our dismissal time.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
